If you upload, email or post content to the City Leaf website you, not City Leaf, has sole responsibility for this information. The term ‘content’ in this case applies to any text, data, audio, graphics, video and photos.

You must not use the website to transmit material that is objectionable, abusive, offensive, illegal, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing; or which contains software viruses or spam.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy and quality of this content, although we take utmost care to check its accuracy before posting. We cannot guarantee to include every submission to our website. We reserve the right to remove content at any time.

Accuracy of information on the City Leaf website
We do our best to ensure that all information on the website is accurate and up-to-date. City Leaf cannot accept any liability to any party for any loss or damage or injury whatsoever caused by reliance on information on the City Leaf website.

Links to other websites and organisations
The City Leaf site includes links to other websites, but cannot be held responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or policies.

Course and event policy

If City Leaf is forced to cancel or reschedule:

• If we are forced to cancel a course we will offer you an alternative date and / or a full refund. We will give you as much notice as possible
• We reserve the right to cancel a course at short notice due to circumstances which are out of our control. If this occurs, we offer a full refund but regret that we cannot reimburse any other expenses such as travel or accommodation.

If you need to cancel or reschedule:
If you need to cancel or reschedule, the following terms apply:

• Twelve weeks or more, Full refund, £10 admin fee
• Six to twelve weeks, 60% refund, £10 admin fee
• Two to six weeks, 40% refund, £10 admin fee
• Less than two weeks, No refund

If we can resell the course place, then we may waive the charges at our discretion.  If you want to transfer your place to someone else, please call us on 020 7485 9262 or email info@cityleaf.co.uk. Again, we transfer at our discretion.
 

Privacy and security policy

We take the utmost care with the security of your personal information and your right to privacy. We abide by the UK Data Protection Act. We want to be clear about how we use this information, so below is a summary of our policy:

Privacy and encryption
We use industry standard encryption technology to protect the privacy of our customers. Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) prevents other people from intercepting your information while it is being transmitted across the internet. This encryption occurs from start to end of every shop transaction.

Newsletter
We only send our email newsletter to people who have signed up for this service. We do not add email addresses to this mailing list which are used in other areas of the site, for example our online shop. We never share or sell this information with or to other companies and organisations without consent. We offer the option of opting out of the newsletter mailing list at any time and will act swiftly to remove your email address.

Recommending courses and products to friends
We assume that you have the consent of the person to whom you are recommending a product or course. We do not use this information for any other purpose.

Online shop
We collect the following information: name, shipping and/or mailing address, telephone number, email address, credit or debit card account number and purchase history. We only use this information to process orders or to send you catalogues or other product marketing material or contact you in the case of checking or correcting the status of an order.
Other information we gather

We collect anonymous information that helps us to monitor how our site is used by visitors and so help to improve the site. This includes cookies, which help to track your activity on the site. You can stop cookies being collected on your internet browser.
